Crochet "V" stitch


This stitch pattern is written in American terms.
Abbreviations:
V stitch = dc, ch 2, dc all in same stitch
Ch = chain
Dc = double crochet
Sk = skip
St = stitch

Make a starting chain in multiples of 3 stitches.

Row 1: V stitch in the 6th chain from hook ( beginning chain counts as a dc), *skip next 2 ch, V stitch in next chain,* repeat from  * across to last 3 chains, sk next 2 chains and end the row with a dc, turn.

Row 2: ch 3 (counts as a dc), V stitch in each ch-2 space from the previous row across, dc in top of turning chain. 

Repeat row 2 until you reached desired length.

Crochet Seed Stitch


This stitch pattern is written in American terms.
Abbreviations:
Ch = chain
Sc = single crochet
Dc = double crochet.
Crocheting this stitch creates a "fluffy fabric".

Works on a chain that has a multiple of 2+1 stitches.

Row 1: sc in second chain from hook, *dc in next ch, sc in next ch*, repeat from * to * across, end with a dc, turn.

Row 2:ch 1, *sc on top of dc, dc on top of sc*, repeat  instructions from * to * across, end with a dc, turn.

Repeat row 2 until you reach desired length.
