Free Crochet Pattern: 10 Minute Scrubber

This little scrubber can also double as a soap saver and you can make it in a very short amount of time.
It only uses a small amount of yarn, and you can use whatever you have on hand, from cotton to bamboo or acrylic.
What is perfect about them is that when they get dirty, you can just throw them in the washing machine.

Materials:
A small amount of worsted weight yarn
Stitch markers
US K/10 - 6.5 mm crochet hook.

Notes:
* This patten is written in American terms.
* Mark the beginning of each round with a stitch marker.
* The scrubber is worked in spiral, without joining at the end of each round.

Abbreviations:
Ch = chain
Sl st = slip stitch
Sc = single crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
Sk = skip
St = stitch

Directions:
Ch 15

Round 1: sc in 2nd. chain from hook, and in next 12 chains; 2 sc in last chain.
Work opposite side of starting chain, sc in next 13 sts. Do not join. (28 sc)

Round 2 : Hdc around (28 hdc).

Rounds 3 to 9: Repeat round 2.

Round 10: Hdc in next 10 sts, skip 2, ch 2;  hdc in next 13 sts, ch 20, being careful not to twist the chain, hdc in next 3 sts.

Round 11: Hdc in next 3 sts, sc in next, sl st in next.

Easy, huh!

Thank you so much for sharing the pattern! I've just made several in one evening for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes. My family's goal is 12 shoe boxes this year, and your easy-to-make pattern will bring us one step closer!
