Crochet Seed Stitch

This stitch pattern is written in American terms.
Abbreviations:
Ch = chain
Sc = single crochet
Dc = double crochet.
Crocheting this stitch creates a "fluffy fabric".

Works on a chain that has a multiple of 2+1 stitches.

Row 1: sc in second chain from hook, *dc in next ch, sc in next ch*, repeat from * to * across, end with a dc, turn.

Row 2:ch 1, *sc on top of dc, dc on top of sc*, repeat  instructions from * to * across, end with a dc, turn.

Repeat row 2 until you reach desired length.

  1. this is a lovely stitch...and so easy, but I have a question.....how do I duplicate this stitch in the round? It doesn't look the same as it does in the ch 1, turn flat version.

  2. Hi Brammy! I am sorry, but the stitch won't look the same in the round, it will look different.
