Crochet Moss Stitch

This stitch pattern is written in American terms.
Abbreviations:
Ch = chain
Sc = single crochet
Sk = skip,
St = stitch.

Note: The loop on your hook does not count as a chain.

Make a starting chain in an even number of stitches.

Row 1: sc in the 4th chain from hook, *ch 1, skip next chain, sc in the next chain*, repeat from * to * across.
End with a sc.

Row 2: ch 2, turn, skip first st, sc in the ch-1 space from the previous row, *ch 1, skip next stitch, sc in the ch-1 space*, repeat from * to * across.
End with a sc in the last space.

Repeat row 2 until you reached desired length.

Be careful not to miss count of your stitches.
